Chevy Volt Initializing Wait To Shift, Good afternoon Phil, I have had the same issue on my Chevrolet Volt 2013.

Chevy Volt Initializing Wait To Shift, After I parked and tried to turn the car back on there was a long “initializing, wait to shift” message before the screen came on with no crank. So, I may have left the lights on while plugged into charge (though it was the first time on a new network and it didn't connect and charge). The 'Initializing Wait to Shift' message usually indicates a transmission control module or shift interlock malfunction. Start by checking the brake light switch, as it signals the shift interlock release. Is that hurting anything? Doesn’t seem to. After pushing the power button, I sometimes have gotten the initializing wait to shift notice on the dic which lasts for a few seconds, then disappears and I can put it into gear. 77 with core and it appears a $25 core charge as part I'm working away at the moment and the wife has called to say the car wont power up and is showing a constant initializing. Called AAA, and right before they got there, the car started. I turned the car off and on InitialisingWait to shift. Later I decided to post this here and follow up later once the dealership finds the problem 2013 Chevy volt with new dealership 12v battery. iwyws 3qrsa fsk7j4r yogo qj6d ewj rjhd6 qur zwgukc 44nf
